Bonobolabo presents the competition “Metropolis – Urban Visions on Skateboards” an initiative dedicated to creating an original graphic that will be produced in a limited-edition run of skateboards. The competition is organized in collaboration with the ADI Design Museum and features two prominent figures: Carlo Stanga, an internationally renowned illustrator and urban sketcher, who will serve as judge and create the graphic that will inspire the project, and Antonella Andriani, ADI Vice President (Association for Industrial Design).
This project is aimed at graphic designers, designers, photographers, illustrators, and artists of all backgrounds, who are invited to interpret the theme “Metropolis – Urban Visions on Skateboards” through their own creativity, in homage to nearly one hundred years since the release of the historic film Metropolis, a visionary masterpiece that continues to inspire generations of creatives.
The decks created will come to life thanks to augmented reality, which can be activated via the ARIA – The AR Platform app. The exhibition and awards ceremony for the selected works will take place in a prestigious setting: the ADI Design Museum Compasso d’Oro in Milan.
